History

AZIndia has been an integration part of informing and uniting the Indo-American community in the Valley. AZIndia had its humble beginnings in 1999 as AZIndia.com and AZIndia Newspaper. In the early summer of 2000, the newspaper changed its name as “Valley India times” and moved under different ownership, since then it has grown and is currently mailed to 4500 households and an additional 1500 newspapers are distributed to local business, restaurants, and holy establishments. AZIndia.com changed its ownership in early 2008 continued to grow its presence. Now in 2016 we are proud to reunite these two streams of information under the same umbrella as Azindia.com and AZIndia Times.

AZIndia is an artifact of the Indo-American society’s presence within Arizona. It has consistently documented the culture, traditions, milestones, and thoughts of the Indo-American community in Arizona since 1999.
